Elaborate , over the top and totally embraced . The yanks love it ..,,, and they put on a show . A beautiful sunset introduced the night in spectacular style . No wind , eerily still , lit up pumpkins and decorative lights stretching through the shadows . A magical atmosphere.
The effort put in by the residents is gob smacking . A haunted house set up on the footpath for the kids to walk through , women dishing out sangria to the passing parents , music and light shows, and an endless procession of out fits worn by kids and parents alike .You never expected any other way .. but it still surpassed my expectations. Gotta give it to the Yanks , they’re all in when it comes to celebrating the big calendar days of the year.
