EJ has left for New York for 4 days it’s just me and the boys . Strap your selves in . I’ve got  a list to look after that makes me think il need a secretary (Steve Siedlecki) . First of all drove down got Leroy tennis balls ,2nd to 7 11 for Tex (wouldn’t tell me but they were out. Maybe a gun),3rd Starbucks for the new unicorn flavour changing frappe,4th a hit of tennis which Tex turned into a war with Leroy in a crying rage trying to unload his best forehand into Tex s scone and last of all we checked junior baseball where the boys refuelled on sour worms for round 22 . Observations : Starbucks is big here . If I was to buy a franchise this truly is a guaranteed lotto winner . Incredibly popular and I just don’t get it because they sell shit with a lot of sugar .Next a healthy diet is important for your child   Trust me ! howdy back home . After 30 hours plus with no sleep we hit the sack for a lazy 11 hour plus . We checked out the manhatten redondo Hermosa area and was pretty impressed ,it definitely lifted the spirits as this place is a fast moving intimidating mass.A bit of substance and character can be found amongst a still beach/tourist locale and even some not bad waves yesterday at manhatten beach and pier.If we can settle into this area it could be a pretty cool stay ,a real outdoorsy action area a cross between the goldy and stkilda/Elwood . Stay tuned as I l let you know how we go in the next couple of days.

Well em got a nice little 2 door beama from repossess auto on the lovely downtown Inglewood rd. yep just on the edge of scumsville . It was like a pawn stars set only we were the ones touching our toes .An experience in sleaze fashion ,hair rinse and 80s suits . We knew we were lambs to the slaughter but we got our 1st car and it’s a ripper , we just don’t want to look up the going price on cars guide . C u guys speak soon

Moved to our 4 star resort for temporary housing . Tough. Hermosa a very cool little area right up my ally. Walking distance to a host of restaurants bars boutique brewers (plenty) .Very eclectic. Plenty to look at ! Shit I don’t think I l be able to work cause I’ve got enough on my plate already at this joint . Oh and the long walks checking just the surf only

Got up went for a run along the beach path . Nearly crashed a few times . Heavy traffic ( nothing to do with the many young and skimpily attired beach volley ballers ) and of course looking at the surf.speaking of which ; there is a solid 3 foot swell hitting the coast. Reminds me of a cross between the goldy / Anglesea -fairhaven stretch . Only problem is my boards are somewhere at LAX we think . Oh well , a big day ahead following my wife around with kids in tow just like sheep dogs

Just when I finally found something on tv I finally like . Dr Miami extreme plastic surgery ,my pet hate kills it for me . 50 percent program content 50 percent adds . Yes the add content is 50 50 on tv here in LA . Just like sugar it’s everywhere even healthy wholemeal bread is as sweet as all f. K Even the honey ham I bought tastes so sweet I could swirl it in my coffee and it’d take the sump oil flavour down to just a nice burnt bitter flavour . Yep that’s just a snapshot

Went down to the point as you might have heard ( Emma getting nails done)  an upmarket fashion /retail space with some cool restaraunts ,cafes , juice , ice cream ect A bit flash and unusually clean and clinical not the grime we’ve been accustomed to . Although if we get our boys down there enough with there attempts at Parcour , football, fighting and screaming I’m sure we can get banned  and EJ can have the place to herself . Although I would miss the best coffee I’ve had so far ( the Gibraltar  double shot steamed milk) .   So I decided to walk over to the next shopping precinct to check out dicks sporting goods with the kids . A lot of stuff but naturally all American sporting stuff just like Amart sport . Then I got excited when I dragged the kids into whole foods . Warehouse size fresh produce . A staggering choice of upmarket dressed up healthy stuff ,gourmet  everything and once again boutique beers ! Even has a in store bar at the front so you can sample the shitloads of beer on tap while the missus does her stuff .  It’s the choice over here ,it’s definitely a yank thing that I like but gee getting buff becomes harder . Yeah I did trap myself a sampler dozen beers to try . C ya later

I think em and the kids might think I’m coming a bit unhinged at the seams I’m on my 2nd IPA at redondo brewery at 3 pm on Saturday arvo . Em asks Me about the food ? I say it’s fuckn shit . We are all happy family style doin our Aussie luv in style and it’s all good but my little pricks have done me in today . The little fuckers are all quiet now and I feel all nostalgic , but I think this is a super cool place that you’ve gotta see to believe and I’ve gotta tell you how it is . This joint is amazing it’s got everything but I just wish guys could be here to have a drink with us and your kids could play with ours and leave us the f. K alone so we could just talk shit . Instructions: you drive and drop us (tex and EJ) off at Texas school ,drive up pier av cross pacific coast hwy hit prospect turn left drive in school ,park , take Leroy to office c miss Cynthia give paperwork , enquire about earthquake kit (another story ) ,take photos (forgot. Didn’t go down that good) , get car (parked a Mile away) , hit 21st street turn right hit Gordon take left and head up valley and il be walking up to meet you . Drop her off , wind way back hit supermarket get home . Do it all again tonight . Fark me ! I’m having 2nd thoughts about being a tennis mum I might need a nanny for help
